I’m calling this show at 9S Studio/Gallery in Easton, MD Nature’s Cycle - A Visual Narrative. The work is about lessons in life, passages in time using nature as my visual source. The paintings and works on paper are visual insights representing shifts in all seasons outside and inside. I’m trusting my intuition while navigating life’s challenges. I want to be aware of the subtle currents upstream while understanding my place in nature. As a painter for me it is more about the process then the outcome and to trust that nudge and direction the painting is leading me! 

I think my work has determined motion, I’m attracted to a life force in painting, and I hope to depict the energy, color, and complex layering like nature itself. As John Donahue wrote “I would like to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding”.
